Principle:
(desulphation)
(1) Glucosamine sulphate → D-glucosamine + sulphate

(deacetylation)
(2) N-Acetyl Glucosamine → D-glucosamine + acetate

(hexokinase)
(3) D-Glucosamine + ATP → D-glucosamine-6-P + ATP

(glucosamine 6-phosphate deaminase)
(4) D-Glucosamine-6-P + H2O → D-fructose-6-P + NH4+

(phosphoglucose isomerase)
(5) F-6-P → G-6-P

(glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase)
(6) G-6-P + NADP+ → gluconate-6-phosphate + NADPH + H+
